Hello All,

This is my first time openly talking about my "condition", besides talking about it with my mother who really doesn't understand. It's just been long overdue to talk to people that I can relate to. I was diagnosed in Dec 08 while I was pregnant with my first child. My husband had given it to me. It was a quick crazy romance that ended up in an quick marriage and an even quicker abandonment. He knew he had it and didn't tell me. But come to find out later he was a Sociopath. So he meant to ruin my life. Now I am a single new mother, soon to be a divorcee, and I have HSV-2. Still trying to find the upside to all this (besides my beautiful healthy baby boy). The few friends I tested out telling vanished off the face of the earth. Trying to sift thru all the ignorance. I would like to get to the place where others are, truly enjoying life from this ugly situation. I'm a good mother hands down, but I want to be a good ME (if that makes any sense). Guess that is why I am here.
