Ok... so from what I've heard nothing changes you just have to be sure that you protect you and your partner ...... my godmother has been living with this disease for about 15yrs now and my mom says that she is just really careful and does not involve herself in oral sex. Idk--wut have you heard or what do you know??

I would like to know more about this too, I have yet to have sex but am scared it is going to change my sex life... maybe eventually once I get to know my body well, sex (and even oral sex) will be easier??

I have been dating the same guy for 3 months and on our 3rd date I told him that I had this. We both agreed to wait and now we have oral and regular sex. We just cant have sex when I break out cause yea, it is painful. He has not gotten an outbreak yet-but got tested and he has it. Don't know why it doesn't show up on guys as much as girls but yea...I have not gotten an outbreak on my face and neither has he, since we have been having oral sex if that is what your scared of . Both our doctor's have told us that it is very rare to get type 2 on your face. Hope this helps :)
