Because I have Herpes, does that mean I am denounced of all the pleasures of oral sex because I could spread it if I am the receiver?  Does anyone have any input on this?  I need to know quickly!

I feel your pain. My exgirlfriend was the greatest thing to happen to me in God knows how long. I'm pretty sure she transmitted the virus to me because I was always faithful to her and the virus showed up four months into the relationship. I became so upset and overtaken by mindless rage, losing all focus on everything in my life. I turned into a huge prick because I didn't know how to go about the situation. In fact, I still don't--I'm kind of soul searching. myself.

Even if she did give me the virus, I don't hate her. I've thought about being all alone and how painful it has become. I figured she doesn't want to be alone and I cannot blame her. I love good relationships. The anxiety of feeling like I won't be able to have one myself is tormenting. I'm still not over her, but I feel like it will never work out. Hell I might of had it long before her.

I know this probably helped me more than you, but, I figured it wouldn't hurt to post this bulliten.

M it is risky doing so and you have to make sure that you are not having a breakout. I've had H for over 6 years now and do not have a break outs often but I do miss oral sex and my partner chooses not to, but I still offer to give her oral sex and enjoy doing so but only when she's absoluting sure theirs no breakout. But I believe there are items on the market for better protection .... but you'll have to let your partner know.
