Hi there! I'm James, a married father of four living on the south side of Des Moines, Iowa and I'm the guy that you'll either love to hate or hate to love because when you truly get to know me you'll find out that I have a no nonsense approach to life, won't stroke your ego and am not one to sugar coat anything. I call it as I see it and if that pisses you off... Well, I suppose that's your problem now isn't it?

Don't be too surprised if I'm pretty quiet at first since I have always been a timid or bashful type of guy until you really get to know me. Due to my bashfulness I often fail to find the right words at the right times which often leaves me wondering what could have been.

I moved to Des Moines, Iowa from Lawton, Oklahoma in 1994 after the Iowa floods of '93 subsided and just before the Oklahoma City federal building bombing.

I've led a life full of mistakes and poor decisions but I wouldn't trade one day of it for anything because it has made me into the man I am today. I'm unique... Just like everyone else.

I've gone by a few aliases (Jimmy Fuchette (pronounced FUCK IT), Santiago and Tonto) in the years gone by but that's a life past and gone. Although, I do remain an advocate for the education of the masses regarding the legalization of the cannabis plant.

In August of 2006 I married my girlfriend of 4 years, began our family and learned to lead and love the life of a family man by becoming a house dad to four wonderful children until our youngest two start school full time.

My wife and I have put each other through hell over the years, some of which has made one or the other of us want to throw our hands up and walk away from it all but something has always kept us together. We like to believe that love has allowed us to overlook the differences in one another, despite the fact that we are polar opposites, and find common ground that together we can grow and build upon.

The life of a family man is no simple task in itself as I have learned over the years. I am constantly torn in five different directions at once and no matter what I do I it seems I will never be able to please everyone.

To sum it all up... I'm old school, laid back, easygoing, have a tendency to speak my mind, believe that a friend in need is a friend indeed, try to help out by whatever means possible and would hope that the favor is returned should that time ever come.
